Just finished a great book which has inspired me to make positive changes to my attitude. It’s all stuff I knew deep down inside just need to be reminded. I want to do things that make me happy again, when I feel good I believe I can make others feel good too.
Today I walked to the train station instead of taking the bus - I was a little late for work ohps! - but I feel great. I’ve decided I’m going to leave the house a little earlier in the morning so I can walk everyday……. well that’s the plan anyway!

I have found something that makes me very very very happy and I hope it will for a very very very long time.
Got a job volunteering at the festival I wanted to go to but couldn’t afford the ticket. Now I get to go for free! Winner!

Today I watched the sun rise.
Making a cushion (by myself!) with the sewing machine I got for Christmas
being greeted by my cat when I came home from work tonight!
The best thing that happened to me today was getting up really early, when the morning was crisp but just warming, and standing on the bridge waiting for the train to run underneath it. When it did the driver tooted and waved at me and I waved back. I felt like child again and smiled all the way home :)
Tussled with the clean duvet cover and got it right in the end!
I just turned 53 and today the boy I had a secret crush on when I was 10 wrote to ask if we could meet. In Paris!
My best thing today was my silly cat making me laugh!
The best thing that happened to me today was knowing that my girlfriend will read this in a few days’ time and see me telling her how much I love her and am grateful to her for giving me space in the last couple fo days.
